We are delighted to announce that Eileen Beresford has been selected as Presentation's Woman of the Year for 2007.

As part of our parish, she is a member of the Legion of Mary, been the Vice President and acted as president when needed. She is regularly a Eucharist Minister, a weekly Lector and also a substitute for Sundays.

Every week you can find her assisting the St. Vincent DePaul group handing out food and collecting donations as well.

On the first Monday of every month she is part of the Presentation group who volunteer at Loaves and Fishes, working and transporting 8 to 10 other volunteers, some of whom do not drive.

She did volunteer work frequently at Presentation School and now is an active parent at Jesuit where her son, Brett attends.

She was instrumental in developing our Bereavement Committee, handling receptions after funerals. Some receptions are at Presentation, others at individual homes.

Not only does Eileen involve herself, but is able to encourage others to get involved. Each individual donation makes a person feel more a part of the parish and encourages further participation in church activities.

Congratulations Eileen, you have asset a perfect example of serving the Lord and serving others as He requested.

The Award Luncheon will be March 17, 2007 Tickets, $22.00 ea. For reservations and information, call Rose DiCapo. Deadline, Feb. 28, 2007.
